West Coast Trip: A-Rod Connects on his 21st career Grand Slam - C.C. Moves to 11-3

The New York Yankees continued their road trip last night out on the west coast against the Oakland Athletics in a 6-1 win.  Last night CC Sabathia and A-Rod were the headliners.  CC picked up his 11th win on the season and A-Rod recorded a grand-slam in New York's five-run 3rd inning.  A-Rod is now just 3 homers from 600.  CC went 7 2/3 innings for the win, his 7th straight.  For A-Rod, it was his 21st career grand-slam, leaving him just 2 behind Lou Gehrig's mark of 23.  The Yankees look to AJ Burnett tonight to keep the winning streak alive.  He will face left Gio Gonzalez, who has a 7-5 record and a 3.50 ERA.  AJ needs the win to get to .500 on the season at 7-7.  Go Yankees!
